Chelsea rout Manchester United, spoil Mourinho's return

It was a relatively easy afternoon's work for Chelsea as they thumped former boss José Mourinho's Manchester United 4-0 at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

It was a stunning start for the home side as Pedro capitalised on a long ball forward to sneak past the defence and finish into an empty net after just 30 seconds. Manchester United (4-2-3) were shell-shocked, looking vulnerable at the back and short of options going forward.

They were further behind on 20 minutes when Gary Cahill was left unmarked at a corner to finish from 6 yards.
