CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: One thing Niedermayer has done consistently in his career is hoist championships. He is the only player to have won an Olympic gold medal, a Stanley Cup, a World Championship, World Cup of Hockey, Memorial Cup and World Junior Championship title. Now in his 19th NHL season, Niedermayer should be headed to his third Olympics but will be taking the ice for just the second time. After helping Canada win gold in 2002 at Salt Lake City, he was named to the roster for Turin in 2006 but could not play due to a knee injury. In 2004, he led Canada to golds at the World Cup of Hockey and the World Championship. He has won four Stanley Cups, three with the New Jersey Devils (1995, 2000, 2003) and with the Anaheim Ducks in 2006 after setting career highs with 15 goals and 54 assists. He was tied for third in the league in scoring among blueliners last season with 59 points. Niedermayer is the Devils' all-time leading scorer among defensemen with 112 goals and 364 assists.
